JAC Distributors recently supplied power and control cables for a new BEMS installation within a refurbishment project at a local Stately Home.
Within this large buildings’ various BEMS controlled plantrooms, our customer installed IMO Stag Isolators and 6491B singles for the power supplies, whilst utilising 2491B singles for the 24V Control Circuits installed within containment. External to the plant rooms, Belden 8723 LSZH 600V equivalent was installed for temperature, humidity, Co2 and gas sensors, whilst BS5308 Part 1 Type 1 LSZH was installed for air handling unit and underfloor heating valves, 24V control and safety interlocks between BEMS control panels and third party systems.
Due to the owners regard for the environment, a full metering system was installed within the property. The MODBUS meters and the air handling unit inverter BACnet communication networks were connected to the BEMS using Belden 9841 LSZH 600V Rated and 9842 LSZH 600V Rated equivalent cables, whilst the M-BUS meters were connected with Belden 8471 LSZH 600V Rated equivalent.

Having our own FORS registered local delivery transport enables us to cut out expensive courier fees and of course we are able to pass that saving onto our customers.
